| SEEDS DISASTER RELIEF FUND |
Every year thousands in India loose their lives to disaster big or small. The geographical location coupled with the high population density and widespread poverty makes a large population of the country highly vulnerable.
In 16 years of its existence, SEEDS has responded to all the major disasters in India, from the Gujarat earthquake of 2001 to the recent Leh-Ladakh flash floods. After each emergency we try our best to promptly reach out to communities in distress; and carry out relief and reconstruction in a manner that is most acceptable to people. This is done without compromising any of the international standards for quality and accountability in humanitarian response.
SEEDS Disaster relief fund is a corpus which helps us in times of emergency, by providing us with a strong financial backbone. This enables us to do our work irrespective of scale, location or the media interest in the disaster with your support, we will continue our efforts towards a safer and sustainable future.
