Experiences in community level disaster management need to be shared among nations, especially in south and south east Asia. These provide fresh inputs and learning for local organizations working with communities.

SEEDS is currently working with partners in Afghanistan for building national capacity in disaster management. In the Tsunami affected countries it is enabling a community based recovery programme.
