The Dissemination of National Disaster Management Plan (DNDMP) was an initiative not only to promote disaster preparedness among district and province level but also to review the NDMP and make it consistent across the country.

The underlying objective was to ensure maximum participation from the stake holders across the district and provincial levels. SEEDS in its approach ensured that the local community builds adequate capacity to draft and implement its own disaster management plan.

Workshops were conducted across district and provincial levels to emphasize the need of a comprehensive disaster management plan, highlight the roles and responsibility of local authorities, build capacity through training and interact with local community seeking their participation.
