Nation-wide Collection Drive
25th and 26th August, 2018 (Saturday & Sunday)
Thousands of families in Kerala have lost all their belongings to the flood waters. But the impact of a calamity of scale is not just economic, but also a heart-rending experience for the affected communities. Our efforts for the people of Kerala can provide them with the much needed support during these grave times.
SEEDS is organising is two day nation wide collection drive for supporting survivors in Kerala get back on their feet, prioritising the return of families to their homes and getting the children back in school. With Onam and Rakshabandhan right around the corner, join us in our efforts to help severely affected families of Wayanad district in Kerala. We encourage all to donate new/unused items such as utensils, toiletries, school bags, notebooks, board games, colour pencils, pens etc. at the collection centres near you.
What can you donate?
Listed below are items that we will be collecting in out donation drive. The articles listed are in synergy with the items requested by the Government of Kerala disaster response.
Utensil set: Plates, Glasses, Bowls, Rice bowls, Kadai, Pressure cookers
Toiletries: Toothbrushes, Toothpaste Tubes, Sanitary napkins, Nail cutters, Bathing soaps, Washing soaps, Mosquito repellents, Buckets and Mugs.
Bedding: Floor mat, Bedsheets, Mosquito net, Towels
School Kits: School bags, Notebooks, Pencils, Colour Pencils, Sharpener, Ruler.
