Responding to Distress Calls

At the time when hopes turn low, the emergency helpline number of SEEDS bring some cheers to the citizens. It is specially meant for those who belong to weaker sections of the society or living below the poverty line. SEEDS supporting them with aid.

Shahjahan Parween, 21-year-old, resides in Harola village of Uttar Pradesh’s Noida. Shahjahan along with her husband Mumtaz Ansari and two children relocated to Delhi-NCR from West Bengal in search of a decent living and source of income. Her husband lost his job as a helper in a firm, post the lockdown announcement. With no income flowing in, Shahjahan and Mumtaz have been struggling hard to grab a plate of a meal for their children. Eventually, the couple came across SEEDS’ emergency helpline number and registered themselves for the ration kit.

The couple expressed their gratitude to SEEDS team for providing them with immediate assistance of ration kits.
